We will meet first in Marion Center. Please read “News in a Disintegrating Reality” and come with a one-page response paper to the story. Be prepared to discuss and turn in the paper in class.
Most of the rest of our class time will be devoted to working on your Video Essays or Slide Essays; so the bulk of your video, audio and photography for this project must be ready to work with. Ideally, you’ll have enough time in class to make good headway to a completed first draft.

Your midterm grade will be based on being current with all assignments for class and an updated web portfolio with corrections/revisions to the pieces you’ve written/made so far.
